From the newsstands to the small screens … the cell phone and the tablet! Now the entire universe of comics from Monica's Gang can be read in the app Monica's stand. One of this year's major projects, the streaming service will provide monthly magazines, the entire editorial collection of Mauricio de Sousa Produções (MSP), from 1950 to 2016, including editions such as Classics of Cinema and Graphic Novels.
Fans will be able to choose between different packages within the app to have access to any MSP HQ. There are monthly subscriptions for classic comics, another for Turma da Mônica Jovem and an option that also gives access to publications in English and Spanish.
Separate purchases will also be available for Graphic Novels, such as the hit “Laços”, and the Classic Cinema editions.
“Banca da Mônica is one of our main projects for this year. We are certainly fulfilling the dream of many fans, with access to a large part of MSP's editorial collection now in the digital universe. In addition, it is another way of bringing comics to the next generation, who have access to gadgets from an early age, and to encourage reading ”, comments Mônica Sousa, executive director of MSP.
“Banca da Mônica came so that the group could dominate digital. With the application, a good part of the collection can be easily accessed by all generations of readers who follow us in these almost 60 years of publications ”, says Mauricio de Sousa, cartoonist and creator of Turma da Mônica.
The application is a partnership with Panini, the publisher responsible for publishing the monthly magazines of the group, Turma da Mônica Jovem, Chico Bento Moço, Graphic Novels and many other titles and arrives for Android and iOS with different packages:

- Turma da Monica Classic Monthly Package: Monica + Cebolinha + Magali + Cascão + Chico Bento.
- Single Magazines: Classics of Cinema or Graphic MSP or Learn More, purchased separately per edition.
- Classical Monica Collection Collection Pack: Monica + Cebolinha + Magali + Cascão + Chico Bento. Editions from one year prior to the current month.
- Turma da Mônica Internacional Monthly Package: Monica and Friends + Mónica y Sus Amigos.
