More and more children are eating unnutritively, which can lead to health problems in the future. To help reverse this scenario, students from the Design course at the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (IMT) developed, for the course completion work, the Animal Chef, a playful product to awaken the interest of the little ones in the preparation of healthy foods, such as if it was a joke, while they spend more time with their parents and enjoy healthy eating.
The product is the only one on the market for this purpose and was totally designed for the child. There are three versions available, with different uses:
The Toucan: Squeeze oranges and lemons.
The Alligator: Cut thin foods, such as bananas and pears, without using blades.
The Nut: Knead well-cooked food.
The value provided by the group is R $ 80.00 and the utensils will be sold separately. The three products will be exhibited during the 27th, 28th and 29th of October, at the 22nd edition of Eureka, at the São Caetano do Sul Campus of IMT.
