Céu de Borboleta went to check out the 3rd edition of the UFC in Brazil, last Saturday, 09/22/18 at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium.
The night was a party for the Brazilians with 14 matches and 11 victories that shone in the Octagon.
The main fight of the night was Thiago Marreta vs. Ery Anders.
Marreta wins at the end of the 3rd round by technical knockout. Brilliant result of a war fought between the two fighters.
In the Main Card we also had the participation:
Alex Oliveira “Cowboy” who beat Carlo Pedersoli, making the Ginásio do Ibirapuera vibrate with technical knockout in the 2nd round in 1 minute
Rogério Minotouro away for almost two years, returns to the Octagon and faces Sam Alvey who is defeated by knockout. Brazilian victory that rocked the public at Ibirapuera.
The most anticipated fight on our Blog Céu de Borboleta, was the female duel, strawweight between American Randa Markos and Marina Rodriguez (from Rio Grande do Sul) with a majority tie.
For us at Céu de Borboleta it was a joy to participate in the biggest event of fights in the World Ultimate Fighting Championship – UFC, besides a great party the possibility to see female empowerment in a sport with the majority of male participants.
These women represent, in addition to the recognition of equity between genders, as they are capable of actions to transform the environment they are inserted in.
Much more than fighting in the octagon, they broke paradigms and were part of a collective conscience to encourage other women.
Do you want to show your part in this collective conscience that inspires other women?
Write for our Blog, participate in this duel.
