Cartoon Network launches “BE YOURSELF” campaign

Cartoon Network launches the “Be yourself”, A multiplatform initiative that encourages fans to tell the world what their power is, making them unique. With a special program, the campaign gathers original content on all platforms and the channel's favorite characters together in this initiative.

The campaign, signed by the Cartoon Movement, Cartoon Network's corporate social responsibility program in the region, expresses the DNA that characterized the brand from the beginning, which has always worked with the empowerment of boys and girls, promoting their creativity, diversity and authenticity.


To engage fans in this initiative, Cartoon Network brought together their favorite characters in a very fun song, celebrating the authenticity of each one.

Jeff, Clarencio's best friend, is obsessed with cleanliness. Ricardo, Gumball's father, has the ability to sleep anywhere. Kelsey, from Greg's World, is small but very powerful. Jorel's brother has so much hair that combing it is a real feat. What do they have in common? Your power! which comes from what makes them unique.

And everyone can join the Cartoon Network characters and fans in this cause! They just need to tell (or sing) what their power is and post on social media with the hashtag: # CNEsteÉoMeuPoder

In addition, as part of the campaign, in August fans will be able to enjoy the block "Be yourself": a selection of episodes in which you will see that your favorite cartoons are the best versions of themselves, stimulated by their own genius! But no special is complete without a few surprises. We will have unmissable debuts, including the double episode of The Powerpuff Girls ‘I’ve never been a star’. Being different is cool, the important thing is to be yourself! Be Yourself will be shown from Monday to Friday, at 12:30 pm; Saturdays at 2 pm and Sundays at noon. Only on Cartoon Network!
